Education Requirements: - Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Degree qualified – Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Accreditations in reliability engineering, Condition Based Monitoring, failure analysis, risk analysis, tribology – lubrication and defect elimination.
Experience Requirements:
- Seven (7) years of experience in open pit mining with some experience with the startup of mine operations.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the field of large open pit mining equipment, with knowledge of electric shovels and haul trucks.
- Qualification in Front Line Management, Business Administration or Project Management would also be highly regarded
- Strong exposure to supervising maintenance activities (e.g., technical trades, stock management);
- Direct experience in establishing work management systems and fleet life cycle planning.
- Exposure to project management for fixed and mobile assets – assembly and rebuilding.
- Demonstrate ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities.
- Written and oral communications for reporting, training, and technical purposes in English.
Responsibilities: - Using the 1C EAM CMMS or existing Maintenance records, ensure the Work Management system is effective to provide accurate and timely schedules, fleet history, parts / components stock holding and availability, work order detail, wear analysis, failure prediction and machine performance trends.
- Diagnosing faults, Organize Repairs, testing repairs.
- Supervising Contractors.
- Ensure that Maintenance Supervisors are informed regarding short and medium term needs to maintain a safe and reliable fleet (for all heavy and light equipment).
- Close liaison with production and maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance schedules are agreed, adhered to, and executed on time.
- Maintain close liaison Inventory Controllers to ensure correct levels of stock are held.
- Optimize maintenance effectiveness using dispatch technology and machine health analysis, promoting safe reliability as a culture
- Develop, maintain and improve area and work standards and procedures. Lead and coach subordinates in this process.
- Creating maintenance procedures.
- Keeping records of machine faults and repairs.
- Lead and provide feedback on projects such as machine overhaul, minor component change out, and repairs.
- Responding to machine breakdowns

Conditions:
Work schedule: shift 42/42 (work location - Bilibinsky district, Peschanka deposit). Paid inter-shift rest. Payment for corporate mobile communications. --Accommodation in a camp camp, 3 meals a day.
Payment for travel from the point of departure to the place of work and back. Voluntary medical insurance (for an employee and 2 family members).
Providing special clothing and laundry services, facilities for washing, drying and ironing. Annual paid leave is 30 calendar days and additional leave for work in the Far North is from 12 to 24 days, depending on the area of residence.
